River Rescue Practice — 10:00 AM Saturday 10-17
We’ll start the morning with dry-land rescue practice, breaking into small groups and rotating around so everyone gets a chance to work with different people.
After that, we’ll move to the water and put those same skills into practice in a real river environment. We’ll start with a larger group exercise so everyone can see the setup, then break into smaller groups and rotate through the different roles.
The goal is simple: knock off some rust, learn from each other, get to know the people we’re boating with, and have some fun while practicing skills we hope we never actually need.
And speaking of fun—we’ll have some prizes! Just showing up gets you entered into a drawing, and we may throw in a little friendly competition for a few more.

Then — Take it to the water
