The paddling portion of Goshen Pass CLEANUP, Cookout & Paddle 3/21 OCT
If you plan to join in the festivities then please let Alicia know by this Thursday so she can purchase appropriate portions of food for the cookout.
We are expecting storms tomorrow, Monday. I doubt they will be enough to keep Goshen-related sections of the Maury running through Saturday but stranger things have happened. Balcony Falls of the James is at a nice level right now and I expect it to look good for the weekend.
If the Maury has water then we'll have options from class II to class III/IV. I consider Balcony to be class II+.
Please stay tuned.
Cheers,
Ken Dubel

Well, stranger things seem to have happened and I mean that in a good way. Monday's rains brought the Maury up quite nicely so it looks like we'll at least have decent water for a run below the post office. Goshen Pass will possibly be bump-down-able which I view as a technical hoot if I'm in a boat I'm not too worried about damaging. We'll sort it out at the picnic.
Cheers,
