Forcast now projecting a high of 28 and 20 mph winds. Maury is frozen over as is a good bit of the James at Balcony Falls.
As much as I'd like to paddle, a freezing cold, low water, icy/hazardous trip isn't appealing.
Hoping the warming trend starting next Monday will bring us water and weather for paddling!

Takeout may be iced over. Shenandoah River is iced over mostly or all from Newport all the way past Whitehouse and completely for about three miles before dam at Lee’s.
