There is an official club trip for Saturday, August 17 for the Balcony Falls section of the James. The putin is Locher Landing at Jarvis Trail, Glasgow.

This is a trip for Novice level and up.

Meet at 11:00 a.m. at the putin to set shuttle.

The level should be good, and temperatures are predicted to be in the 80's.

Wish I could join but still nursing my old shoulder.

FYI that I read in the local paper that someone broken into a car @ the Glasgow boat landing & stole wallets, etc. while the owner was on the river. Sorry to hear that. Be forewarned.
