Fall Gathering Paddle, Saturday, Oct 10, Shenandoah

We are FINALLY going to have a paddle, Saturday, Oct 10, South Fork of the Shenandoah, Newport to White House Landing. We'll meet at the boat landing in Newport at 10:30. We'll be following the COVID guidelines as we run our shuttle. Note that the White House landing is closed due to bridge construction. There is a new boat landing on the opposite side of the river directly across from the old landing but there is limited parking.
After the paddle, all are invited to Grove Hill for an outside social hour. Bring your own snacks and drinks. There will be no pot luck dinner.

I am curious about who's going to the Fall paddle and social?

Caroline and I will not be paddling but plan on attending the social. We will be spending part of the day at the Graves Mountain Festival, Syria, VA in Madison County, then going across the mountain on Route 33 to Grove Hill.

We miss ya'll.

Since I'm organizing the trip, you know I'll be going.It would be nice to know who's coming to the paddle for shuttle purposes

Hi Martha,

Pamela and I are planning to come. We have a pickup truck and can't shuttle people in compliance with the guidelines. However, we have a truck bed extender and can shuttle an extra boat for a short distance.
