I'm ready to get back out on the river. So let's do Seven Islands. Meet at the takeout in New Canton at 10:00 on Saturday, Sept 28. The level will be low but it's still doable. Let me know who's coming.

The Jackson pulse release occurred today. My records from the September 2016 pulse release showed the Scottsville level went from 1000 cfs to 1700 cfs the Saturday after the release. Today's Scottsville level is about 1000 cfs so I expect Saturday's level to be 1700 cfs. This is a descent level even for the center channel. Nice choice of a September Saturday for a paddle Martha.

I plan to be there. I will drop kayak and gear at the put in about 9:15 and am counting on Caroline to be there for gear watching. I will be in New Canton to meet you at 10 AM.
