Seven Islands on Saturday, Sept 9

We'll be paddling the Seven Islands section of the James River on Sat, 9-9. We'll meet at the takeout in New Canton at 10:30. The river is low but we should get a bump from Wednesday's Jackson River pulse release. Those of you coming from the west are welcome to set your own shuttle and meet us in New Canton. Please let me know who's coming , preferably before Sat morning.

Mostly Sunny 73°51° NNE 7 -10 mph 57% RH

USGS says Scottsville today went from 1500 cfs to 2000 cfs and this is not the pulse. You may not have low water.

Caroline can't paddle and I won't go in my tandem solo with a nne wind.
Sorry to miss you again. This has been a bad year for paddling for us. Maybe I'll take up golf.

We have a total of 11 going and the river is coming up. Weather forecast is great. Should be a good time. Anyone else?
