We had 36 volunteers & collected 54 bags yesterday!!! (up from 17 folks & 26 bags last year) We extended our reach above & below the Pass along Rt. 39, & some who later paddled below the P.O. hauled out 4 bags from along that stretch of river.
My farmer neighbor, who always donates some of his beef for the cookout to express his appreciation, emailed me this AM:
Dear clean up crew,
WOW
Thanks to you guys, the Baths looks wonderful. You all went above and beyond and please know it is much appreciated .
Coastals treated for a nice cookout afterwards & despite no water in the Pass, we had 3 Plan B's -- some went to paddle Balcony Falls, a few paddled a low (but reportedly doable!) run below the P.O., & 2 of us hiked in the Pass up to a lovely lookout.
My thanks to all who came out! It was great to have a few kids this time, too.

Thanks Alicia for organizing this wonderful event. Thanks Ken for feeding us. And thanks to everyone for all they did. Laura and I will be back next year.
