James River in Richmond (Sat, 6/25)

As a prelude to WOR, some of us are coming up to Va from the south. Plans are to meet at Pony Pasture at 11 am on Sat, 6/25. From there, we will run down to 14th St (or you can take out at Reedy if you don't want to go downtown). Hope to see you on the river.

Sorry to muddy the waters, but why so late in the morning?
Can you do 9am or 10am start? Parking at Pony could be difficult at 11am.

So late in the morning b/c some people are driving up from NC -- about 3 hours -- plus I didn't come up with time. They did.

Martha suggested those of us in Richmond meet earlier and run shuttle so that the ones meeting at 11 at put in will just have to show up.

Let's meet at 10 am at Reedy and figure out shuttle from there. I'd like to be able to leave a vehicle at 14th St, too.

What time are the people paddling to 14th street take meeting at the take out?

Let's set meeting at 10 am for both take-outs. I'll meet group at 14th St at 10 am. Martha and JJ can coordinate group at Reedy. Everyone should end up at Pony Pasture by 11 am (time that group from NC should be arriving). We can start paddling as soon as they arrive and unload.

Please post if you are planning to come along, including where you will meet us (which take-out - 14th St or Reedy). Hope to see you on the river.

Us, too. Trip on the James is a "no go." We're going to try to catch the North or South Anna instead.

I'd like to join you if I can borrow a sprayskirt (a pfd and helmet would be great too, but I think I can get my hands on those). I am visiting my parents here and can't find the spare gear that I usually keep here.

We're switching to the NORTH ANNA. We'll meet at the take out on rt 1 at 9:30. Let me know who's in.
