Chick's only paddling survey
In Chicago with the Chicago Whitewater Association we always planned a ?chick?s only paddling weekend? to bring more women paddlers together and create larger paddling circles. Often women are surpassed in water level difficulty by male counterparts. Men would say this is due to skill development, women say it is often due to brain damage. Whatever the reason it is beneficial to have multiple groups with which to paddle. In the CWA this was trip was ?Babes with Blades?. Probably because ?Bi__hes in Boats? sounded too hard core.
I am considering coordinating one or two ?chick? trips. The first would be in May on the James. Lower James if level acceptable. Paddle to be followed by lunch at Legend. Looking to see if there is interest in said trip.
With enough interest we could do a second ?chick? paddle on the Lower Yough in July or Aug. These trips are not entirely instructional but rather to put one another in a supportive environment and expand our paddling circles. If your are female and interested in such a trip please participate in the survey below.

And as a side note, if any of these ladies are single and in to short fat bald dudes that can't paddle worth a crap, let me know!
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Thanks for the offer Jules, but it would just be awkward and put a strain on our frien... you were talking to JoAnnejulesagogo wrote:That's me! I'm in except for the weekend of 5/20.

Now you?re talking my brother!Dave K wrote:Great idea, JoAnn! I want to help out so, if you have it on the first weekend of the month, I?ll be more than willing to jump on the Karla Sue hand grenade for you and take him off to the Upper Yough so you don?t have to listen to him be an @$$ or wait for him to get read-up for the river!

Paddleing women
I like to paddle women. Not in an abusive way more of a mutually erotic way.
May I come?
This is a repeat of a post I made in the past. I am enjoying typing it now as much as I did then.
Spead the love as you would spead peanut butter.

Chicks Only
Would love to do some Fabulous Female paddling - definitely the James, not sure about the Yough I've never done it but there is always the first time!
I'm in for both!
It would be a drive for me either way, but I'm up for both those rivers for sure. I have tons of paddling chick buddies in the DC area so I'll rope them in if I can.

Re: chick's paddle
I understand Barb - I'm from Kansas and I've never seen any there, either - I'd expect more whitewater to be had anywhere than Kansas, but sure enough: http://www.kansaswhitewater.org/Barb wrote:what kind of whitewater does chicago have???? i'm from there.....haven't seen any!
