Come out and join us. Should be a fast run with level close to 8'. Meeting at the takeout by Campbell's bridge at 9. Let me know if you're coming so we can watch for you. I'm expecting to be off the water around 11.

If I can't find folks to run LJ with I will be there. I've never run the Appomattox. What's it like at 6000cfs?

Here's some footage of the last rapid at 4200 cfs. There are a few big water rapids, especially toward the end. The last set of rapids has only been exposed for the last year or so. There are bigger waves at Target Rock upstream, although the subject rock is underwater at current levels. The rest of the run winds past islands and over old dams, etc. I think this stretch is under appreciated for what it offers.
