OCT 39th Annual Lower Yough, 10/24-25

Post by Dave »

The 39th Annual Bill Gordon Lower Yough trip will be October 24th & 25th. We will meet Saturday morning at 10:00 at the put-in (AKA 'The Grassy Knoll') in Ohiopyle. Meeting time Sunday morning will be 9:30.

It may be cold, so please dress accordingly. The Yough runs free until spring so launch tickets and shuttle tokens will not be necessary.

Please let me know if you are planning on attending. You may email, call (contact info in the roster) or send a message via the message board.

Please come willing to help with shuttle rather than doing your own thing. Be courteous of everyone on the trip.

Benner's campground will be closed. Tall Oaks is open year round. If there is sufficient interest we can try to get a pavilion & sites near it.

Wallace & Gromit plan to attend. Likely camping at Tall Oaks. Possibly motel-ing if it looks like rain.

Tall Oaks T49

Post by JohnB »

I reserved Site T49 at Tall Oaks. It's fairly private but not far from a restroom. I'll be there 6ish. I hope some or all of you will join me. I'll spring for some firewood.
