New Rendezvous

I am a newbie, have a dagger mamba 8.6, and will start with the easiest paddle. I am bringing my hiking gear just in case....

I plan on leaving Richmond around 5:30 am Saturday to make the 10:00 gathering. I will camp saturday, then driving back late sunday, thinking around 4-5. I have a Toyota Tacoma Access cab if anyone wants to car pool up.

Coming out on Fri. I have people that want to raft Sat. and Sun. on the Gorge. Does the Gauley start releases this weekend?
