New River Gorge this weekend

Post by Wallace »

My son is now a raft guide for Adventures on the Gorge. Gromit and I are going to raft with him on Saturday and we'd like to hard boat Sunday. There is room for two more in the raft for Saturday and we'd like some company on Sunday. We will stay at our place near Goshen on Friday night and camp at Ray's on Saturday night. Feel welcome to join us at either or both. Game day decisions on meet times and locations for shuttlle. Please post here if you're interested, it lets everyone in on all the action. Thanks. See you there.

Bueller?

Would it help if I said the rafting is "free"? Although I'm sure donations to the "Feed Nathan Fund" will be cheerfully accepted.

BUELLER!?

Of course you could call it a raft supported trip on the gorge. Right now, we're planning on putting on around noon on Saturday.

Dave, you are killing me with this. I tried to round up a crew for the NRG last weekend and couldn't do it, so instead I end up on the UY. Would love to join you and Liz this weekend, but I have house guests for the weekend! Hope you have a good time, and catch you next time. I love the NRG and usually can't find someone to paddle it with me. By the way, I will be there July 14-18 if you are looking to paddle it then.
