GOSHEN CLEAN-UP POSTPONED TO SAT, 4/5
Please let me know if you can make it THIS Sat, 10am @ Rockbridge Baths P.O. All the other details remain the same (pick up trash, lunch cookout courtesy of the club & my farmer neighbor's beef, & paddle 1 or more sections of the Maury).

Thanks in advance!

Quoting somewhat out of context,
Please put me down for one burger and two dogs.

This coming weekend is looking much more promising. Forecasts have been especially fickle lately but at present it looks like we may see a little rain toward the end of the week followed by a beautiful weekend with plenty of water (hopefully not too much) in the Maury.JDzielak wrote: .....This is where the EXTREME wind started to pick up. It was bowing spray off the waves, blowing me into and out of eddies, blowing my paddle around, and literally blew Carrie over! This is the first time I have ever experienced wind that adds a level of difficulty. .....

Mangles and MaxK will be in attendance for the clean up and paddle.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

Great to hear from so many! It helps to have good weather forecast & water in the river. We do have possible storms for tonite & Fri evening, so I'm afraid I can't predict the level.
See my post from last weekend for details: http://www.coastals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13750
Highlights: bring gloves, long sleeves, & maybe a lawn chair for lunch. Don't park adjacent to the P.O. or antique store, ie. PARK ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE P.O.
Thanx, aj

I'll be there.
I'll pack a sandwich in case this is too late an RSVP.
