Moose Fest Oct. 18th

Post by Manchester Yacht Club »

Redford and I are trying to rally a group to head north towards the sunny beaches of the Moose River for a weekend of what appears to be excellent whitewater. Neither he or I have run this river but I am always down to be a probe (the open boat allows me to see with greater clarity the monster hole that will promptly be chundering me) If anyone wants to join let me know!

I might be up for some Moose fest now that I live a lot closer. We'll have to see how my schedule is working out. Hit me up closer to the middle / end of September.
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

Yep. Home is now Wilmington, DE. I still frequent RVA to visit family though. We'll cross paths again... SYOTR!
