Creeking New Years

Post by Dave K »

Since the details fo this trip will be determined by water levels that are as yet unknow, this is just an FYI.

Jackie and I are looking to do some boating over New Years – probably down south. We’ll be looking for a good mix of water and weather on Class III – IV / IV stuff like the Tellico, Section IV, Wilson, etc. Friendsville or WV are not out of the question.

Depending on the destination, we’ll be looking to leave Friday night, 12/28/12 and return Tuesday, 1/1/13. Would like to get a cabin but that will be determined by the destination.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks.

I might be able to convince Gromit to go for the weekend..

Gromit says there's no way she can get off work on the Monday.

Tentatively interested. I've got a lot of work to do to pull this off.

Hall pass received. Easier than I thought. I'm down for the duration.

I'm interested but sadly won't be able to commit to all 4 days. Count me in for Sat and Sun.
Have you swam with your kayak lately?

I sent out an email with the details. I think there is a total of 14 interested in this trip. If you are interested but did not get the email, get a hold of me.

Looking at Wilson on Saturday and then Tellico / Cumberland Plateau through Tuesday.

Thanks.
