Careful around Z-Dam at these levels... I'm not sure, but the recirculation boil may be in effect if you're planning on surfing the main dam play wave that occurs at higher levels (~10ft). As far as the river right play spot at the sluice cut in the dam, it's prime level is around 5.5ft. Whatever you end up doing, be safe out there!
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke
I will run the upper sunday, im pretty much a newb and would like to get out and work on my ferrying and surfing skills. As long as you dont mind running with a newb im down.
Just drove by z dam. Its no good for playin for the Bull and I anyway so we will meet up at Reedy at 5:30 to run the UJ. Look for the red tacoma or blonde lady with the big grin and orange boat.

The Bull and I will also be out somewhere Sunday but not sure yet- depends on water level but based on what I see now probably the LJ. The Bull asked about water temp and dress. Its dropped allot, about 10 degrees, since all the rain. I stuck my toe in it earlier today and it felt much cooler. Not wet suit cool yet but not naked warm either like it has been. Best bet is a dryfit T. See everyoine at Reedy today at 5:30.
