Looks like a good, fun, experienced group, launch time is 10am.
If you're not on this list but would like to join up, there were plenty of permits still available for 9am-10am-11am as of yesterday noon.
I purchased a 10 a.m. pass for Sunday, and I plan to boat with the group.
For any new boaters; if you get a 9 a.m. pass, you can put on at 9:55 and still join the 10 a.m. group.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!
Oh, I see how it is! Your going to post pictures of you paddling solo without Max K,Mango wrote:New List For Lower Yough OCT, Summer Gathering.

Good grief man, tell them to reschedule! People get married every day. The Summer Gathering 2011 only happens once.patmacpherson wrote:Mango, Please remove me from the list. Just found out i have a wedding i have to attend
Sorry you won't be there.

Got you covered AirborneBuff, glad to have you along.AirborneBuff wrote:Is there still a spot for me on this trip? Please sign me up if there is. It will be a PFD for me.

I've had some inquiries about the trip, so below is part of an e-mail I have
sent out. Just FYI, but if you have any questions or concerns for this trip,
don't hesitate to give me a call or e-mail.
In July, the air will be hot and the water will still be chilly. If you get cold easy, a lot of people still wear a shorty dry top or splash jacket. I generally don't get cold, so I only wear a rash guard. Your call. We will be on the water for at about 4 to 5 hours (depending on people playing and it's a large group), so take a lunch and plenty of water.
Shuttle Tokens are purchased at the Ranger Booth at the Put In, They are $4.00.
You'll have plenty of time to do so, and everyone else will be buying them also.
They are not the same thing as the Hard Boat Passes. I already have them for Saturday. If you want to paddle on Sunday, you have the choice of putting on before 8am or buying a Hard Boat Pass($5) (best in advance, online) and another shuttle pass the day you need it (not in advance, they are color coded)
Make online reservations or call toll-free 888-PA-PARKS (888-727-2757),
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, for state park information and reservations, or e-mail us your postal address for an information packet.
The info you will need to know to make the reservation.
Ohiopyle State Park
Sunday July 17
10:00am Time Slot (there are 8 available right now, if they get sold, get a 9am pass, it's good up to 9:55, so that would work, you just might have to wait a little while for the rest of the group) Hard Boat Pass ($5.00) Credit Card
Call Benners Campground about camping, just tell them you are with Coastals Coastal group site (site #501 with site #502 being overflow). Group site camping is $10.75 a person a night. Nearby individual sites are also available.

I don't know of any Friday paddling plans (I gotta work).
I think for Sunday you now need to call & get your own permit. Tom got a bunch for 10am.
