We have had a bunch of rain out here and my house is getting pounded again right now (Tuesday 8:00 p.m.) Looks like the Maury gauge graph is trying to curve back over itself!

I really need to work but if the right combination of events happens, .....

Have fun, be safe,

thursday might actually be a better choice. i've only run it once this high, and thursday it might be approaching a more reasonable level (- 1500). and who knows how high it might go overnight.

I'll re-assess when i get off work tonight and repost.

I'm new to the area and would love to join you guys on Thursday if the level looks good. I'm comfortable in anything up to solid class IV. Let me know time and location if you don't mind me tagging along.

I have wednesday off, but 2000 might be high for a first time run in the pass... I will check gauges in the morning.

its looking like it will be very close to, if not above 2000 cfs Wed morning, which I am not comfortable running, esp with a small, mixed group.

Thursday should be more manageable levels, depending on how fast it drops. Lets tentatively say 10:00am at Indian pools, but that might change. Keep coming back for details.

dseal- i'll PM you with directions, etc.

now that i'm not trying to look at levels on my cellphone, I have reviewed the situation for Thursday.

If it continues dropping at the current rate of ~80cfs/hr, by 10:00am tomorrow it will be around 1400cfs, which is big, but still a comfortable level (for me at least).

So, 10:00am at Indian Pools, see you there, bring your A game.
