Lower James Sunday

Post by Paddle Daddy »

I'd like to get in a run this Sunday morning, earlier than the 11:30 group. Anyone interested in @ 9:30 or 10:00? Subject to weather of course. Post if interested.

I bury my father on Saturday, So a paddle on Sunday would do me good. See you there.

Sorry to hear the bad news.
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Our thoughts are with you.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

YOAD,

I'm sorry for your loss. My father-in-law passed on 2/11/11. I cherish the blessing of the time I spent with him, as I am certain you do of your time with your father. God's Peace be with him, you and your family.

Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

Sunday meeting time

Post by Paddle Daddy »

Richard - my deepest condolences.

I would like to go so long as it is not pouring rain - recovering from the flu and don't want to push my luck - or thundering. So subject to checking the weather and posting for a raincheck in the morning, I am thinking maybe a 9:30 departure from 14th Street.

What do you think?

I'm down for 9:30am @ 14th St. - rain or shine, it doesn't matter to me.
