Thanks for the Russell Fork Gorge, Jug

Let us know how it went! Swim confessions and carnage reports are welcome, but it's not fair to tell on your buddies!

Thanks for the Russell Fork Gorge, Jug

Post by Dave K »

I want to thank Justin Morris for slumming it with Sejal and me by taking us down on a kiddy lap  of the Russell Fork Gorge 10/2 and again on 10/3.

I enjoyed it even when I missed the line at Tower; disappeared underwater; got slammed to the bottom of the river in my boat which put a big dent in boat; had my skirt implode; rolled up; and was then told to get out of my boat and swim to shore before I flushed in to Fist.

Also, thanks to Trevar for helping me get to shore.

Thanks, bro.

Damn!!!
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Thanks for boating with me the past couple weekends... It was fun and I had a great trip back East... In FL now and heading back to CO next Monday...

The best line I heard for the weekend was Dave saying "That rock in the "sneak" at tower is undercut as SH**"

Nice job the both of yous (where were ya guy...) I had the stomach butterflies going crazy Saturday morning.....

Thanks Wade for all the driving (you let me do this weekend)... Thanks for etc. etc. etc. appreciated as always....

Just letting you earn your keep.

Great having you back! Thanks for all your help. :D
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!
