Captain Thurmonds is on Saturday too. The race starts at noon with the 12 mile bike leg. I am guessing that will put the participants on the river around 1:30. Not sure how many there will be, but I will be among them.
If there is anything left of me, I will join you on Sunday.

By my count we have 7 "committed" paddlers for Saturday: Me, Gromit, Ken, Alicia, Shannon, Stephanie & Mville (sorry I can't remember your name). The cast may be adjusted a little for Sunday but the number should stay about the same. WOO HOO! I'm getting revved up!!!

Anyone want to head up early and paddle the NRG Friday? OR - might I interest anyone in a detour to the Tygart, or Shavers fork of the Cheat on Friday? (I haven't done these yet and would love some backup)
Lee and I will be joining you guys at the Visitors Center at noon - yay!
Mike, sorry we can't carpool - I'm going up to Luray this afternoon (I know, wrong way...!) Anyone know a good place to leave a car for a couple days - around Staunton and 81?
