Oh Yeah!

Post by Wallace »

Since the James is predicted to rise and I'll be off, would anyone like to paddle with me and Gromit this coming SUNDAY 11/15 in the afternoon? I'm working Saturday night, so I need a nap Sunday morning. We can be in Richmond after 1pm. Post, email or call.

I may join you. I presume you're talking about running the Upper, maybe Hugenout to Reedy, depending on the actual level?

We'll have to make a game day decision based on attendance and water level. Higher than 9 ft then definately the Upper.

Sounds like a plan, Dave. I wasn't sure if since the last time we paddled together you had become one of those wacky folk who don't mind paddling downtown at insane levels. That's not what I signed up for.

I am in (with the permitted yet non-insane group).

FYI, as I type I am standing on the footbridge overlooking Fish Ladder. Pretty awesome and still rising, but quite runnable along the usual route as of now. No visible wood caught in any dangerous places, but a fair amount of big logs rolling by.

Meet at Reedy? The insane can always keep running downtown.

Dave needs his beauty sleep so we need to make it in the afternoon. Say around 2pm? How does that sound? :D
It'll be good to see you Mike. You should bring Emily too!
