Monday 9/8 and/or Tuesday 9/9 ? time

I'm guessing and hoping the river will be at it's peak sometime on Monday or the day to follow. I'm hoping to get out at least one of the days.

I'm off all day so I'll be willing to go when the majority is able.

I would like to get out Monday or Tuesday also....preferably early on monday like 8 or so if possible,,,I'm still trying to figure out when on tuesday.

I live close to the App so I wouldnt mind hitting that one of those days too.

What river??? The App has appeal. I enjoyed it in early Spring when it was at five feet. What are the levels?

If the Rivana, local for me, is at a good level it could be good. I can get to the Rt.600 bridge for a reading of the level there.

PSU PAC is most likely referring to the lower section of the James in Richmond...

Sorry, I assumed too much, I should have been more specific. I do mean the lower James.

I'd be up for a potential early run (meaning shortly after noon. Hey I work late, that's early for me! heh) I know of one other person who is looking to run between noon and 2. If you'd like to be a third MichaelME, then I'd be game. I would do 2 runs then for the day.

The App on Tuesday sounds good for me. The challenge is to be off the river before 3:30, or better yet by 3:00, since I have agreed to go to a lecture with my wife in the very early evening.

Could we meet before noon? And where do we meet?. I have met folks before at a parking lot near the takeout. I have a general sense of where it is but no directions as to how to get there.

Also, any clue as to the water level???
