Monday rains?

Post by bambam »

You might want to build up some brownie points this weekend. The forecast model I watch is calling for two inches of rain along the Blue Ridge on Monday. Wait and see ...

Models seem to have converged on a solution putting a lot of rain where it's not going to do much good, ie, Central / SE VA and central / NE NC. Maybe half an inch over the Blue Ridge. If something interesting happens to run, I can blow off work on Monday.

Want to paddle

Post by Jer »

I'm looking at getting on the river tomorrow, I'm two hours from the gorge and Gauley . Anyone boating near or on the rivers let me know.
Thanks,

Wed/Thurs rain

Roanoke forecast just said the Highlands could get 1.5" rain over the next 2 days. Do your best rain dances, please.
