Lehigh River

First river day(s) from a two month hiatus as I don't paddle in the hottest part of the year. So thanks to Chris for coordinating this trip right when I was looking to jump back in the kayak. This OCT was also my first out of state river ran. Also thanks to Ihab and Keith for coming too.
Saturday the level was just under 1800cfs for the upper section. Woke to rain and got on the river right as it stopped. Then went and ate, saw some sights, and had a expensive fire that was weak.
Sundays level just over 1000cfs on the lower section. Weather was perfect and so were the views. Two days and 23 names rapids later it was time to come home. Thanks Ihab for the company in the car, dealing with me getting lost, frustrated, and my firework stop!
Hope next year we're back here and I plan to try and catch a emergency release some day at 3,000+cfs.
