I paddled, I swam. Not much else to say

Thanks for the ride Turbo and Spanky, thanks for bandaging my wounds Army Mike and thanks to Dave N, James and Army Mike again for grabbing my paddle.

Advil anyone?

how many kayakers does it take to retrieve a paddle?? haha, but i swear that paddle had a motor on it, it was moving fast.

Isn't that a Tom Wood quote????
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Why yes it is!

A Gorgeous day it was and I remember waking up in the morning wondering if I should paddle... as soon as I snapped on the skirt I knew it was the best idea I had in a while.

Great pics!!

sorry spanky,

the wide angle zoom i was using for your pass doesn't do much after the drop, the autofocus tends to find the wave, rocks or bridge, whatever is dominant in the image. would have had a better luck with the longer zoom, with that lens i get good closeups but lose the hollywood headstones in the background.

Don't feel bad. At least you got your paddle back. I got banged up when I swam Hollywood but I think my ego was bruised more than my body.

I spoke too soon. I just got a call last night from a hunter who found my paddle washed up on the shoreline south of Richmond.
