Tye on Friday (III-IV section)
Anyone going to run this section of the Tye tomorrow if it gets to around 2000 or below? I've never done it before so I'm looking for some one to show me the lines

Hi Craig.
This is going to sound preachy but I really don't mean it to.
I've never run the Tye super high but I've been there when we had to portage around the route 56 bridge because we couldn't fit under it. The lines are simple -- straight down the middle until you come to a hole.
Or a tree across the river.
It's not my style of boating so I'm a biased coward. It can be a fun roller coaster but it's not under control. It's hissing through the trees on both sides. You can see most of it from the road but not all of it and that seems to be where the wood collects.
Have fun, please be careful.
Ken

You might want to join Chris Straker on the Moormans this afternoon. I'm hoping his estimate of river level is a little low for this afternoon because I can't get out until tomorrow morning and sure hope it will hold until then. Chris is a great guy (I knew him when he was in Scouts) and knows the Moormans like the back of his proverbial hand. See the other posting by Chris in this forum. Like Ken said, have fun and be safe.
