OCT Saturday, March 20 SOUTH Anna

Post by martha james »

Saturday's trip will be on the South Anna. Meet at the take-out on Rt 54 at 10:30. The way the river is dropping, it may be a low water run but it should be okay. Please let me know who's coming.

Martha,
I'd like to join your trip, too. I'd very much like to get a ride with someone from Charlottesville and contribute for gas, but I'll be there in any case. We have just our Honda Fit this weekend (our son's college mock trial team is using the Pilot) so I can't carry anyone else's boat or gear if I'm driving.
I also may try to get my best friend from college, who lives in Hanover County and also is a novice-intermediate paddler, to join us.

Good level

Post by martha james »

At 4:00 this afternoon, the gauge at the bridge at the South Anna put-in was 1&1/2 ft. It should be a good level. See those who are coming at 10:30 at the take-out.
