Coastals Meeting!!!

Post by Dino358 »

Come one & come all to witness the submissions of the Spielberg "Wanna Be's" of the Coastals Canoeists.

Video and photo submissions have been collected, a projector and audio equipment is secured, judges ready to be persuaded, "not so fancy" prizes are ready to be dispursed. This, my friends, is where Heroes and Legends will be formed...well, maybe that's a stretch, but it will be a hoot.

The only thing were waiting on is an Audience!

Hope to see you all out there. be sure to check out the official "Gatherings Page" http://www.coastals.org/meeting/ for potluck info and Directions.

Psst...there may even be a rare sighting of the famed Paddleboy! (/fingers crossed.)
...DaveK says he's dreamy...sigh...
Take me to the River.........Drop me in the Water.

Yes I will be there. Probably should start working on my thank you speech.

Is the Corn bringing BBQ for this one?

I don't know, Karl. I was able to get an advanced showing of Scooter's entryand it was pretty good. It started pretty slow with a long sequence of front surfs from Dave K but quickly picked up.

I would have said he was a shoe in if he had put in the "Nice" story about him and EJ. Regrettably, he left that interview out as he decided to save it for the director's cut.

Only the best damn BBQ in central VA!! 8)

That's right kids, none other than the world famous Buz and Ned's Real Barbeque

For more info check it out: http://buzandneds.com/

So come hungry :!:
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

I did take a look at Scooter?s video last night and thought it was very good. Of course it helps to have a natural in front of the camera like Dave K.

The bad news is that Scooter did not submit so we will have to acquit.

I don't know, bro. I'm brining a copy to the meeting! I e-mailed Peaches about this earlier this week with apologies abou t it not being "officially" submitted. The question now is, since the video was not officially submitted, is it eligible for a prize?

*gasp*Just when I thought this event had it all (talented boaters, pork products, and paddle porn) - the final piece of the puzzle has finally been added - the thing that EVERYONE loves - CONTROVERSY!

!!BRILLIANT!!

I see a comma!!
Ned's dead, baby. vs. Ned's dead baby. Puzzled at first, I thought Ned's poor infant had fallen fatally ill.

Hey webmistress can we have a grammar forum where all the errors can be illustrated like this. I think would be a key contributor in such a forum, which would help my post count.
