I am looking to paddle the lower James early Saturday morning to avoid the heat. If no one wants to paddle the lower then a very low water run of the upper James is OK. Key word is paddle!

How about the Upper James? How early would you like? How about you, Waterdog?

I plan on the lower but have to work until 0700 so can't be to the take-out until 0830.( Maybe 0815) Have to be off the river by 1100 to be at a meeting at the Game Dept.

I'm in town on military business and happened to bring my kayak. Do you mind if I tag along?

My normal paddling routine is the New River Gorge and Lower Gauley. I am SWR trained. Have never boated anything in Virginia.

If nobody responds, maybe I'll just show up and beg for a shuttle.
