Planning to paddle the lower James River in Richmond, VA. Trip will be from Reedy Creek to 14th Street meeting at 11 at 14st. River level is forecast to about 4.5 feet on the Westham gauge. This short section (~ 2.5 mi) has class III+/IV- rapids at this level. Highs on Sunday are forecast to be near 50 with cloudy skies. Thermal wear (e.g., drysuit/top, wetsuit) is required.
