OCT TRIP 12-20 MOVED TO 12-21- LOWER JAMES RIC
Planning to paddle the lower James River in Richmond, VA. Trip will be from Reedy Creek to 14th Street meeting at 10 at 14st. River level is forecast to about 4.9 feet on the Westham gauge. This short section (~ 2.5 mi) has class III+/IV- rapids at this level. Highs on Sunday are forecast to be near 60 with sun. Thermal wear (e.g., drysuit/top, wetsuit) is required.
