Savage River Release 27 SEPT

The third and final whitewater release from Savage River Dam for 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th. The release is scheduled to be 1,000 cfs from 10am to 4pm. Times for ramping and post-event flows will be posted on the North Branch Potomac release website (link below) closer to the event.
Please note that in accordance with the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA), we are undertaking a modernization initiative to improve the overall quality, accessibility, and user experience of our digital services. As such, a new website will be used for future release schedules for Jennings Randolph Lake and Savage River Dam as well as for other information posted on our public website. We highly recommend bookmarking this site for future reference as the previous website will be discontinued within the next few months.
