Official Club Trip: James River in Richmond, Sat August 16

We will paddle the James from Pony Pasture put in to 14th St take out, with the option to take out at Reedy Creek. Rapids from Pony Pasture to Reedy Creek (~ 4 miles) are class II. From Reedy Creek to 14th St (~ 2 miles), rapids are class III-III+ (at predicted level of ~ 4 ft on Westham gauge). Plans are to meet at 10 a.m. at 14th St take-out, but we may also have a group meeting at Reedy Creek if there is a group interested in running only the upper section. Please let me know if you would like to go with us and where you would like to take out.
