Slate River Trip cancelled
The level is too low for a paddle. This river will no longer be offered as the putins now are posted and no one to contact for permission. I will substitute the Mormons River instead the next time. The tributaries to the James are all running to low to paddle including the Rockfish and Hardware rivers. No rain in forecast so the future trips on the tributaries to the James are in limbo.

Bummer. We need rain and the long range forecast is for a dry winter. I hope that's wrong.
