What you need:
• Rock-solid rolling ability: not that you have to make the first one every time, but the ability to go for it till you get it is key.
• Class IV river reading skills
• Go-for-it attitude!!
Camping:
Your choice. I will not be camping. I can connect you with others that maybe camping
Travel Plans:
Meet in Friendsville at take out at 12:30 pm on Friday and same time for Saturday
What you need to do if you want to join us:
If you are a first timer and are interested, please email me with
“Upper Yough First Timer trip” in the subject line.
Please include your “paddling resume”
• Name,
• please idetify if you are a First timer
• Your Favorite river,
• Your Roll reliability,
• The last 3 rivers you have paddle and their levels and how you did on the said rivers i.e. rolls/ swims.
• Did you have fun running them? Where you challenged on them ?
Please don't just show up. The Upper Yough is an advanced skill level river.
I will be screening folks to make sure that we’re not getting in over our heads and to keep the trip safe.
