OCT - Balcony instead of Bottom Tye

Post by GinnyN »

I'm down on the Cruise schedule for "Bottom Tye with Backup Rockbridge Baths Section of Maury". What was i thinking??? It's Summer LOW! The James is the only river running near me.

Let's run the Balcony section of the James on Saturday. Meet at 11 AM at the put in at Glasgow. Please post here if you're coming.

Yes, the James is low, but runnable.

Balcony is a step up from the lower Maury. At 670 cfs it is NOT class III - it is class 1/2. It'll test your river reading skills a bit at times to pick your way.
