A friend and I will be camping at Pipestem State Park next weekend and would like to paddle on Sunday, hurricane forecast permitting. If we get rain enough for the Bluestone to come up, we'd go for that. If not, then the New below the Bluestone Dam. We've never paddled either and would be more comfortable with a group. Anyone in?
We both paddle OC1. I'm solid on class III, and he is solid on II and working toward III.
