OCT Balcony Falls Saturday July 14 is on!

OCT Balcony Falls 7/14/18 Meet at the Glasgow put-in at noon.
I’ll be coordinating this club trip on the Balcony Falls section of the James. This is a class II run with an easy class III at the actual Balcony Falls rapid. It’ll be on the lower side but still tons of fun. I am willing to take first-timers down, but please let me know if you’re a first-timer. Post here or on the Coastals Facebook page if you’re planning on going. Hope to see you there!

Hi Savanna,
This would be my first time at Balcony falls as well as being pretty new to paddling in rapids. I'm also not familiar with the area so I don't know where in Glasgow the put-in is.

Brendon, where are you coming from? Glasgow is about 45 minutes NW of Lynchburg, 75 minutes from the intersection of US 29 and I 64 at Charlottesville.

Sorry for the late notice, but I'm planning on coming as well. I've done the run quite a few times.
