Come out to spectate or participate in this first annual friendly slalom boating fundraiser that is being hosted by me, Richmond kayaker Nathaniel Milligan (7th grader at Albert Hill Middle) on Saturday, November 4th from 1-4pm.
The goal of this event is to raise money and canned goods for families at Albert H. Hill Middle School and other Richmond Public Schools to supply a Thanksgiving meal for those in need.
We are collecting a $20 entry fee (tax deductible) and donated canned goods to compliment a turkey or ham: (e.g.: canned vegetables yams, greens, green beans, cranberries, gravy stuffing mix and other) Thanksgiving themed non-perishable goods.
Spectators are encouraged to bring donated items too!
Competition categories are: All Skill Levels Welcome
Kayakers: men, women, Junior U18 men, Junior U18 women
SUPs: men, women, Junior U18 men, Junior U18 women

Competition Registration & Information:
Competition starts at 1:00pm. We need all competitors to fill out registration forms and check-in at 12:15 so we can get competitors grouped accordingly. Check-in will be at the Tredegar put-in. If you would like to pay in advance, please click on this link:

We will be accepting cash or credit card payments day of event. And there will be a drop off for canned goods too, if you would like to contribute.
We have t-shirts available for the winners in each category.
