OCT - Balcony Falls on the James, 8/6

Meeting at Locker Landing at 11 am. The level should be a bit higher than the usual very low level in August.

If you're still going, I'll see you there, Bill. Gromit is a maybe, depending on work.

I'll see everyone at the put in, and the level is looking good for August. The Craig Creek watershed upstream must have gotten good rain since it's running over 800 cfs right now. Some of the creeks in the Roanoke watershed were running but I unfortunately was tied up with work and couldn't paddle. Mason Creek isn't far from the Craig watershed and it was running tonight. John's Creek was running in the middle of the night this week.

Maybe I'll get to see Dave's new boat?

I'll see you all there. (Sorry for the late reply. I just got back from the Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho!) Terri

Bring extra drinking water so you'll have enough spit in you to tell us all the details.
