The first scheduled whitewater release from Savage River Dam for the 2016 season will be held on Saturday, June 4th. The whitewater release will be 1,000 cfs from 10 AM to 4 PM. The pre-event and post-event ramping rates will be determined later this week. The outflow from Savage River Dam will be reduced to about 55 cfs for several hours during the day on Wednesday, June 1st, to allow for removal of river obstructions.

I can't make it this weekend, but I'm planning on being there for the July 4th release.
