O.C.T Southeast Creeking

Post by jdub »

Hello to all, the time has come for the Southeast creek trip. Unlike some of the other O.C.T post this is going to be short and sweet. This trip is an ADVANCED trip. We will not be staying in hotels and there is no real plan other than we are going to be somewhere in WNC or TENN as this is a creeking trip and creeks are rain dependent. One thing to note though is that there is a Cheoah release this weekend so there is a back up plan, key term , back up plan. We will be focusing on IV-V and V creeks in the area. You will need to have good river reading skills and creeking experiece. If we get good rain we may be running rivers that no one in the group has ran before. The trip is the weekend of St.patties day 15-17 if there is rain and 16-17 if there is not rain. So if your interested please contact me thoruogh e-mail at johnwilliamson804@gmail.com

Thanks and have fun out there
John

I'm in. Let the Irish festivities begin!
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

Shotgun!

You might be riding shotgun with Tolyho, but I'm in the co-pilot seat in Jdub's truck. You wouldn't want it anyway... the seat has conformed to the shape of my butt over the last several years!
