Cfs has doubled in last hours, with more on the way. Lets meet at the post office at noon, and dependant on conditions we will decide what section to run....Dake

What are the rapids rating? Will I be able to run them at my level?

If so, I should be able to make it. Which post office specifically?

Sorry kids, even though the whole western part of Va was under severe storms, flood watch etc, apparently it was a flash fluke, and stopped raining as soon as I posted. There wont be enough water for tomorrow.I am open to suggestions Dake

It might still be worth your checking the gauge in the AM. I've run from the P.O. to Copper Road as low as about 2 - 2.2' USGS (maybe 300 cfs?).

low water

Yea but you can probably paddle in 1" of water, and of course if I was lucky enough to live there.........
