Rafting on the NRG

Post by MvillePaddle »

I'm just putting out a feeler to see if this is possible:

My sister and some of her friends would like to do some rafting on the NRG at some point soon. She said there was a trip with her school, but it was around 200 bucks to go, so I told her I would ask the local paddlers and see what I could come up with.

If someone has a raft with extra gear for them, and is planning a trip out there in April or May, let me know, they would really like to get out there. Not sure what the experience level of her friends are, but my sister has rafted the NRG before, and rafted the Upper G with me 2 years ago, so she isn't completely novice.

Thanks for any help with this, and hopefully I'll see everyone on the river soon.

New River

Post by Dake »

Hi Justin. Ace adventure offers express trip"s for I'm thinking 89$means no lunch stop Their full day trip is 119 to 139 I think. The new can be enormous, with Lochsa like Qualities.(google carhage on the Lochsa). The waves are like 12-15 feet, with the accompaning holes. I did it at I think 8 or 9 feet. My advice is to go with a commercial rafting outfitter at these possible spring levels...Dake
