Mattaponi River from Zoar to Aylett. Yes this section is tidal but upstream from the power boats section. This date was selected because, we will be on a high tide going out which will carry us down stream like a freshwater river. Trip is 5.5 miles. Time about 4 hours with lunch stop. Dress for winter temperatures.
Meet at 10:00 am at Aylett DGIF ramp to set shuttle. Aylett is 30 miles east of Richmond on US 360. Allow 55 minutes from Richmond's West End.
