UJ - Memorial Day

Anyone planning on hitting the UJ on Monday. In spite of all my attempts I have yet to get myself or my son (for his first trip) out on the river. I think Monday might really be doable.

I am visiting the area for a few weeks and would love to run something this Sunday and/or Monday.

I'm meeting some friends at pony pasture around 9 on Monday. I'd suggest starting early because the parking lot usually fills up by mid-day when it's hot. We're planning to drop off boats then shuttle cars to Reedy. Anyone is welcome to shuttle with us, and paddle with us, too, if you want. Level is forecast to be around 6'.

Haven't paddled in couple of years, but I' aiming to hit Huguenot flats Sun to see what my body remembers. If that old thing remembers enough, I'd love to join you Mon. 9am is fine by me.

I'll be there with my son. We are leaving from Suffolk @ 6:30 or so. We should make it in time. I'll be in a blue Pontiac Vibe if it matters.
