this weekend

Post by laxjack3 »

Howdy Paddleboy,
I am trying to, hoping that, praying that, the New Gorge comes down some so I can run that...it is way up in the air. Do to fatherhood stuff I can only get one day out to paddle, so I am day tripping...hopefully not falling down. If I can not hit the Gorge I will be locally paddling with some beginners...sorry but 5-6 hour drive is to much for me this weekend....

Have fun and look forward to paddling with you some day...hahahah

10am, at the put in, it is per Bill G. in an email to me.
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Yough: Paddling Sunday

Post by eeyore »

 Yes, hope to paddle Sunday as well as Saturday. Meeting at the put-in at 10AM Saturday. I suspect that we will be putting in earlier on Sunday to accommodate those of us who have long drives home.

After further review, i am going to have to rule tha it's going to be too Crapy this weekend to take my wife and little baby camping in PA. Chance of Rain, Low 40's in the temps - and I do not own the outfitting to support a trip in Below 50 water.

Maybe in the Spring.

A side note - I grew up in Pittsburgh and have not been on this river in 10 years. I used to do it in a ducky every weekend in the spring. I am very unhappy to be missing this trip!
Take me to the River.........Drop me in the Water.
